Summer Solstice Update! โ๏ธ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ป
Earthseed Ecovillage, Jamaica, VT โ June 2026
Hello!
We are springing into our third year (time files!!!) here on the land at Earthseed Ecovillage, with a new springy dance and movement space in the works, two yurts, gardens galore growing, the beginnings of a tree nursery business beginning, and new trees going in everywhere. Weโve got more human and animal beings here on the land now, calling it our home. Every day we get a little bit closer to realizing our dream of living a different way.

We don’t have to navigate a broken, isolating system alone. We can do it together: we can raise children together, grow healing food, share meals, and build abundant worker cooperatives. We already are doing it! Though on a small scale for now, we are preparing the land and the infrastructure to host more villagers and visitors, to be the hub.
To fully realize this vision and open our doors to more villagers and visitors, we need to raise our communal infrastructure game substantially. This season we are focusing on building the septic system for our hearth and hub of our valley ~ our first two future-primitive, concrete-free, upcycled and recycled, hyper-ecofriendly, forest-integrated, permaculture-inspired common houses nearby the magical hemlock dipping pool in our beloved creek.
The project is bursting with new life! This Solstice we are giving gratitude for all our residents here and the land that hosts us and feeds us and inspires us to steward her and her beings. And we are grateful for all the people who have gotten to know this project and have helped us spread the word, build here, who have shared meals and laughter with us. We cannot do it without you, and we donโt want to.
Please come visit this summer. We have a lot going on, and we welcome you to come and play with us! Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
With deep gratitude and thirteen thank-yous,
Bob & the Earthseed Crew
P.S.
Weโve got a new GoFundMe to help us with the cash flow for well and septic. If this is something you can help with โ we would be very grateful. We are also calling in relational funding, including solidarity loans and investments โ if you or anyone you know would like to support our mission and build equity. Right now, our only bottleneck is cash, and we are eager to not let it slow us down, so any help would be appreciated.
